6063 aluminum sheet is closely related to the 6005A aluminum alloy, but not exactly the same. The main difference between the two is that the minimum composition percentage of 6005 aluminum in these two alloys is higher than 6005A (while they have essentially the same maximum value). The Features

1. Heat treatment strengthened, high impact toughness, insensitive to defects.
2. It has excellent thermoplasticity, can be extruded into a high-speed and complex structure, has a wide quenching temperature range and low quenching sensitivity.
3. Excellent welding performance and corrosion resistance, no tendency of stress corrosion cracking. Al-Mg-Si alloy is the only alloy that does not find stress corrosion cracking in heat-treated reinforced aluminum alloys.
4. After treatment, the surface of 6061 aluminum sheet is very smooth, easy to anodize and color. The disadvantage is that storage after quenching at room temperature for a period of time will negatively affect the strength (parking effect).

6005 aluminum alloy was widely used at the time to knead the profiles and pipes of ladders, wheelchairs, TV antennas, stands and other products, but it should be noted that 6005 alloys cannot be used to make shock-resistant structures. 6005 aluminum sheet can also be used for hand rail tubing; truck, trailer, automotive, bus, and rail components; platforms, ladders, structures; building and construction applications; marine applications.
